Trinidad and Tobago's gold medallist in the London 2012 javelin, Keshorn Walcott, has been rewarded for his Olympic travails with £100,000, a luxury new home, 20,000 square feet of land and, most remarkably, will have a lighthouse named after him. The 19-year-old secured his country's second gold in Olympic history with a throw of 84.58m in London, and the prime minister, Kamla Persad-Bissessar, declared Monday a national holiday as Walcott returned home to a hero's welcome.
