I grew up in arlington Virginia, we have a pentagon shaped building and a cemetary you might have heard of. I came to eugene, oregon in the fall of 2001 and have lived here ever since. I run a little bit, you know, get out on the trails and jog around. Sometimes I run on one of the many tracks in town. The bike path that runs along the Willamette river is a good place to jog too. Pre's trail, amazon/rexius (they are actually one trail, secondo me), ridgeline, power line, no name trail behind the ritzy neighborhood, doris ranch, that logging road that we are no longer allowed to run on because some guy with a shotgun said he shoots on sight. Yeah, those are all good places to jog. Then there are the more remote trails, trails you have to drive/hitch hike to (I don't recomend hitch hiking because drivers may pick you up to go out there, but what I've learned from personal experience is that nobody picks up a stinky, sweaty runner) such as: Mckenzie river trail, that logging road near Dexter's resevoir that I detest because it's all freaking gravel and I hate running on gravel, the coast (Florence) has tons of trails too. Well, that wasted some time, I think I'll get back to my spring break now.
