Samantha Nadel -North Shore High School (Glen Head, NY) ran 9:33.7 for the 3000m. According to multiple conversion charts/formulas that should equate to 10:14-10:15 for 3200m.
She is not listed in the top 10 for 3000m/3200m as the 10th place performance is currently listed as 10:19 for 3200m.
Her result can be found on dyestat.com under rankings for 3000m for verification.
Please clarify.
Thanks

I'll pass that along to the people assembling the distance lists. It's a matter of how many top-x performances were selected from each of the 3k, 3200, and 2-mile for combining into one overall list. The idea is to get the top-5 converted performances. It doesn't, however, guarantee the best #6-10 marks are shown, as you pointed out.

Yep, this is correct. Next week it will probably only show the top 7.

1. There are a couple of girls that are in the top 5 for both the 1500 and 3000m (ex. Cuffe and Pierce). If they decide to attend and choose 1 event then would the #6 ranked girl move up on the list and then be invited as well?
2. If anyone in the top 5 turns down an invitation, does the #6, #7 etc runners move up as well.
Can you tell me what Samantha's 9:33.7 converts to for a 3200m as I believe she is currently somewhere in the top 7-8 on your list.
Thanks

It's just a matter of timing. Those two athletes were not reflected in last week's list, which is what the currently posted Nike "selections" are based on.

I don't, sorry. I sent in the final lists Sunday night for them to work through, but I don't know what their schedule looks like for verifying marks, contacting athletes, and finalizing selections.

Yes,
Here is the note on that from the updated FAQ here - http://www.runnerspa...29&page_id=2113
Can an individual on my team compete in both Nike Track Nationals and US Junior Championships?
Yes, provided your athlete is qualified for the Junior event and their competition is scheduled during their already scheduled stay in Eugene. Nike will not be responsible for registering your athlete for the US Junior event (Click here to see US Junior Championship entry info).
