Corey Thomas of BC High, MA jumped 6'11" this weekend.

I think that's the highest jump by a high schooler this week?

Is running beneficial at all to High Jumpers? After running just 1 mile today I felt great.

Would it be good for a High Jumper to run as little as 1 mile in the mornings 2-3 times a week?

high jump is 90% mental if you think running makes you feel good go for it. However......I personally have never run anything over 400m in who knows how long. I would not advise running anything longer to anyone and would think that it would hurt your high jumping.

Hey, this is random, but I want to make a high jump compilation for youtube/other video hosting sites.

I want to get footage from some of the current jumpers like Jesse Williams, Grant Lindsey, etc.

I'm a pretty good editor [I use a program called Sony Vegas]. So ya, any way for me to get some clips? I already made one high jump compilation video a while ago. It's on youtube and the name is:

"The Sky is the Limit - A High Jump Montage"
