NXN Prediction Contest Options

New to NXN this year is a one of a kind prediction contest.  For each of the three weeks of Regional competition, participants will be able to log their predictions for which teams will automatically qualify for the National meet in Portland , as well as the individual winner of the boys and girls championship race at that week’s Regional Championships.  The contestant who predicts the most automatic qualifiers and individual regional champions will win an all-expenses-paid trip for two to watch the National Meet in Portland on December 5th.  Any ties will be broken by guessing the largest margin of victory by an individual champion at any of the regional championships.  

Here’s how the contest works:
   -between 11/11/09 and 11:59PM PST Friday 11/13/09 select the club teams you expect to qualify for the NXN finals in week 1 of the NXN Regionals and the individual athletes you expect to win the boys and girls championship races at the NW, HL and MW NXN Championships

   -between 11/18/09 and 11:59PM PST Friday 11/20/09 select the club teams you expect to qualify for the NXN finals in week 2 of the NXN Regionals and the individual athletes you expect to win the boys and girls championship races at the SO and SW NXN Championships.

   -between 11/25/09 and 11:59PM PST Friday 11/27/09 select the club teams you expect to qualify for the NXN finals in week 3 of the NXN Regionals and the individual athletes you expect to win the boys and girls championship races at the NE, NY and SE NXN Championships.

So let us know who is going to make it to the big show and if you can prove that you know your stuff we’ll bring you out to Portland to hang out with the best harriers in the country, not to mention meet Nike’s best athletes, see the famous NXN opening ceremonies and watch the birth of National Champions!
