When people half ass workouts or make up excuses left and right, it makes me real angry, especially if i know they have good potential

Runners that have natural talent and waste it by putting in minimum effort for training, yet are able to beat those who work their ass off to prepare for races.

In no specific order: slow folks in the fast lane, phones that ring off the hook and endless phone menus, slow or intermittent internet connections, screwed up orders at the drive-up window which you find out after you've already driven off, and long lines regardless of where they are, old defunct treadmills at swanky new hotels, and lately, out of shape people with no self-control or motivation. OK, I feel better :)

ACADEMIA.

There's so much pointless drivel. So much bureaucracy. So much wasted time, energy, effort, and...most of all...money.

When you are about to lap someone in a race on a track and they look back and see you but don't move.
