An "almost" sure pick for Senior Boys champ is Xavier King, he has dominated every race this season.

Not so fast my friend! Eammon Kichuk might have something to say about that!

I'm going to predict that Tristan Woodfine out of Opeongo High School will capture the senior boys title with Xavier King coming second. Riley Johnson out of Fellowes High School finished 4th at the TISS Invatational will be someplace around 15th. Maddy Kelly also out of Fellowes should come top 15 for the junior girls race, as she was 24th last year in the midget girls run.

I don't think alot of people know about him yet but Glebe's Yves Sikubwabo, a Rwandan refugee is my pick to win the senior boys individual title. I saw him run his first race last week and easily won NCSSAA West Conference. I heard that the week before he ran a 29 min 10k too. Here's the interview from him after NCSSAA West - Interview.

29 min 10k... ok, he will be hard to beat over 7k. He better not leave the race to a kickers race or he will lose to King with his 1500 speed.

I heard the 10k was really 9.5K. Still sick for a hs age kid.

Yves has a 3:50.15 1500m best from earlier this summer. He also has a pr of 1:12 in the half marathon according to oert.ca. I don't see how he can't be the favorite for the individual win.

Gotta go with Woodfine for the win, Xavier King in the top 6. Darlington looked good at Trinity.

SG - is Joanna Brown back? Can't see her being beat?
