I never had an imaginary friend as a child...or even now in my late thirties. I don't even like most real people. An old college buddy had an imaginary friend though--in his youth--and he named him, "Friendy." I always liked that name. It's not all that creative, but it says a lot.

Running is okay. If you choose to do't, do it on soft surfaces. Do it outside--rain or shine, and NEVER do it with an iPod. There is no better time to be one with your thoughts than out on a run. An iPod (or similar such device) robs you of that self-connected metaphysics.
