Published: April 26, 2012 TAMPA -- The Hillsborough High boys track team won the Class 3A-Region 2 title Wednesday at Leto High despite a costly injury to one of their outstanding athletes. The Terriers had 74 points while Jefferson finished with 56.5 points. Hillsborough has won five of the past six regionals. Anthony Brown pulled a hamstring during the 4x100 and may miss the state meet. Brown won the 100 meters with a time of 10.65 and was favored to win the 200 meters. However, the senior pulled his right hamstring in the 4x100 finals and was unable to run the 200 meters. He wound up being taken to the emergency room at Tampa General Hospital.
