IRVING, Texas - University of Colorado sophomore Laura Tremblay was named the Big 12 Runner of the Week after winning the individual title at the Rocky Mountain Shootout on October 2.

Tremblay won the 5.8 kilometer course with the 10^th fastest time in course history, the second best mark by a sophomore, in 20 minutes, 29 seconds. She out-sprinted teammate Emma Coburn in the final stretch to win her first collegiate title by one second. This is Tremblay's first Big 12 Runner of the Week honor.
