THIS YEAR: One of the finest heptathletes in a long line of Cougar greats, senior Tiffeny Parker is an 10-time NAIA All-American, who is 1 of just 5 athletes in program history to eclipse the 5,000-point barrier ... Has posted career-best marks that rank among Azusa Pacific's all-time top ten in the 60-meter hurdles, 100-meter hurdles, long jump, triple jump, high jump, javelin, pentathlon and heptathlon ... Transferred to Azusa Pacific as an outstanding high hurdler and triple jumper but has evolved into a multi-event standout ... Could compete at the NAIAs in the open long and high jumps ... Is eligible to compete for just the outdoor season, having already exhausted her indoor seasons of competition.

 

2010 (junior): Collected 3 more NAIA All-America honors during her 2010 junior season and played a key role in Azusa Pacific capturing the NAIA outdoor championship ... Finished third in the NAIA heptathlon by scoring a career-best 5,028 points, the fifth-highest score in Azusa Pacific history ... In that heptathlon, posted career-bests in the 200-meters (25.60), 800-meters (2:38.79), 100-meter hurdles (14.03) and javelin (127' 6") ... In her final indoor season, posted All-America efforts by finishing third the 60-meter hurdles (8.69) and second in the pentathlon (career-best 3,528 points), accounting for 14 of the Cougars' 57 team points ... At the GSAC Championship Meet in Santa Barbara, Calif., finished second in the shot put (career-best 38' 4 1/4") and ran leg on the conference runner-up 4x100-meter relay.

 

2009 (sophomore): Put together a fabulous 2009 sophomore season in which she captured 5 NAIA All-America honors, 2 indoor and 3 outdoor ... At the NAIA indoor championships in Johnson City, Tenn., finished third in the 60 hurdles (8.86) and fourth in the pentathlon (3,418) ... At the outdoor championships in Edwardsville, Ill., surprised the field and the crowd by rallying to win the 100-meter high hurdles individual title with a then personal-best 14.21 to become just the second Cougar ever to win an NAIA high hurdle crown (Michelle Campbell in 1995 was the other) ... Also finished fourth in the heptathlon (4,633) and sixth in the triple jump (39' 1") to account for 18 of the Cougars' 48 points ... At the GSAC Championship Meet in San Diego, Calif., was second in the long jump (18' 1 3/4") and third in the 100 hurdles (13.9h).

 

2008 (freshman): In her first season at Azusa Pacific, qualified for the NAIA indoor and outdoor championships ... Scored in the pentathlon at indoors, finishing fifth with 3,337 points for her first-ever NAIA All-America honor, using Azusa Pacific all-time top-ten efforts in the long jump (18' 3 1/4", sixth best) and the 60-meter high hurdles (9.01, second best) to help register that score ... At the outdoor championships in Edwardsville, Ill., finished fifth in the 100 high hurdles (14.44, fifth fastest time in program history) for her second All-America award ... Qualified for the long jump in both meets but did not advance to the finals ... At the GSAC Championships, was second in the triple jump (39' 4 1/2") and fourth in the heptathlon despite no-heighting in the high jump.

 

NEW MEXICO: Out of high school, signed a letter of intent with the University of New Mexico where she competed during her 2007 freshman season ... Posted season-bests of 8.99 (60 hurdles), 37' 11 3/4" (triple jump), 17' 9 3/4 (long jump), 4' 9" (high jump), 27.62 (200) and 3,037 (pentathlon) during the indoor season ... Redshirted the outdoor season.

 

HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered 4 seasons in track & field for head coach Chris Drescher at Rancho Verde High in Moreno Valley, Calif. ... As a 2006 senior set the school record in the 100 hurdles (14.81) and triple jump (38' 7") and established the second-best mark in school history in the 300 hurdles (47.3) and long jump (17' 11") ... Advanced to the CIF finals in the 100 hurdles (15.13/5th), triple jump (36' 1 1/2"/8th) and 4x100 (46.21/3rd) ... At the Inland Empire Championships, won the 100 hurdles (15.2), triple jump (37' 6 1/2") and long jump (17' 11") ... As a 2005 junior, qualified for CIF final in 4 different events ... Competed at the 2005 Mobile (Ala.) Challenge of Champions.

 

PERSONAL: Born June 8, 1988, in Moreno Valley, Calif. ... Parents are Ronald and Delores Parker ... Has 2 older sisters (Teasha, Erica) and a younger brother (Ronald) ... Majoring in business ... Wants to get into the fashion/design industry ... Also served as student body president as a senior at Rancho Verde.
