Rachel’s junior year consisted of a series of high finishes in national caliber meets followed by a breakthrough performance at the Texas State meet.  After finishing 2nd at her state meet, she went on to qualify for the Nike Cross Nationals, where she would finish 6th.  She broke through yet again at the Texas State track meet, winning both the 1600 and 3200 titles.
