Jay Johnson competed for the Colorado Buffaloes, where he earned is Masters in Kinesiology, before moving on to coach at Pratt Community College where he brought the team from anonymity to a JC powerhouse.  He then took over recruiting and middle distances at the University of Colorado and he is now a coach to several elite athletes.  Jay’s primary goal at the camp was to teach the campers about the science of running in a relevant and understandable way like only he can.
