Event Description
This Run/Walk is a fundraiser for Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA). CASA provides a powerful voice in court for abused and neglected children. Check out the CASA WEBSITE for more information.
Distances
This event features a 3.5 Mile Walk, and an 8K (5 mile) run.
Free 400 meter fun run for kids!
Location
Skinner Butte Park and surrounding bike paths - Eugene, Oregon.
Course
The courses are flat, fast and scenic, through Alton Baker Park, along the Willamette River bike paths, with both courses crossing over the DeFazio and Greenway (Valley River) bridges, while the 8K includes an additional out and back portion on along the south side of the river. Entry Fees
Adults, $15, without a tech t-shirt. Children 12 and under just $5 with registered adult.
Add $10 to any entry for a tech fabric t-shirt through Friday, May 14, 2010. Youth cotton shirts are available for $7. For an additional $5 donation to CASA, you will be provided with a red cape to run or walk with, showing your support as a "Super-Hero" for children.
Race day entries will be $20. Shirts only guaranteed if ordered by May 7, 2010.

Registration
In person at the Eugene Running Company (116 Oakway Center) through Friday, May 14th. By mail, send completed entry form to: CASA Champions for Children Run/Walk 174 Deadmond Ferry Road, Springfield, OR 97477. Click here for an ENTRY FORM. Click here for ONLINE REGISTRATION. Race day registration will be from 7:30am to 8:15am. Packet pickup will be at Eugene Running Company on Friday, May 14, from 11:00am-6:00pm, or on race day in Skinner Butte Park from 7:30-8:15am.
Awards
Awards will be presented in the 8K run to the top three overall male and female finishers and the top three in each age group. All participants will be eligible for random prize drawings. Lots of random prizes!!

14 & Under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 & Over
Corporate/ Business Cup:
CASA/ReMax Integrity Champions for Children Run/Walk invites you to take steps to support CASA!
You are invited to take part in the inaugural “corporate challenge” to be included in our annual Run/Walk. A traveling trophy will be awarded to the company/business with the greatest total number of participants and highest percentage of participation in the small, medium and large business divisions, in both the 3.5 mile walk and 8k run, combined. Categories will be based on small, medium or large sized company/business. Show your team spirit as you run or walk to be a champion for children.
Awards will be given to teams with “most participants” and “highest percentage of participation.”
Small Team (5-20 employees) Medium Team (21-99 employees) Large Team (100+ employees)
Team Eligibility Requirements:
Team members must be employees of the company listed as “team”. Interns, temporary employees and consultants may be included.
Family and friends of the company are welcome and encouraged to participate, but may not be counted towards the team participation scoring.
All team members must fill out an individual registration form and pay registration fee. Be sure to note Team association on registration form.
Team submissions may be made by mail post-marked by May 8th and mailed to CASA 174 Deadmond Ferry Rd. Springfield, OR 97477 Attention: Jill Mestler
Team submission may also be made in person by Friday, May 14, at packet pick up located at Eugene Running Company, Oakway Center.
