6:00pm - 3K Youth Race (Ages 12 & under only)

6:40pm - 6K Open/High School Race (All ages)

6:45pm - 5K Masters & Seniors Race (40 & Over only)

Event Description
Here it is, the cross  country event you've been waiting for.  Experience Pre's Trail in a unique event that features age and ability divisions, hay bale obstacles and the most scenic race around.  Proceeds support the maintenance of Pre's Trail,  following the extensive efforts of the past several years.

Location
Alton Baker Park - Eugene,  Oregon.

Course
The courses are flat, fast and scenic, along Pre's Trail bark chip paths, with hay bale jumps, through Alton Baker Park. All races will share a common finish line with staggered start times listed above. The 6K course will share the 5K start line and consists of 2 scenic laps on the yellow loop before rejoining the remainder of the 3K loop, with only running the start and finish straight section once. 3K & 5K Course maps coming soon.

 

Entry Fees (For all events)
$20 - All races, ages 19 & over, $10 - ages 18 & under. Oregon Track Club members receive a $5 discount. Add $5 to all prices on race day.

Registration: Register in person through Thursday, August 23rd, at 7:00pm at Eugene Running Company. On race day, starting at 4:30pm and closing 15 minutes prior to a particular race. A limited number of Commemorative "Pre's Trail XC Challenge" runner hats will be available for purchase on race day for $15.00! ~First come, first serve!

Awards
Pre's Trail T-shirts will be presented in each race to the top three overall male and female finishers. The team with the most members receives a custom trophy plate.  

Age Groups
Youth 3K: 12 & Under
Open/HS 6K: 19 & Under, 20-29, 30-39, 40 &  Over
Masters 5K: 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 & Over

  
Team  Competition
In each race, individuals may also compete on a team for team awards. Teams will be scored based on top 3 finishers on each team, according to finish ranking in respective gender category. Bring on those speedy Coed Teams! The 6K Open & High School teams will be scored seperately.

Event Benefit
Proceeds from the event will be used for the yearly maintenance of Pre's Trail.
