Published by
Coach Harger   on Feb 10 2012, 09:35 PM

February 10, 2012

(Indianapolis, IN) The Indiana Invaders check-in to Allendale, Michigan for the Grand Valley State University's Big Meet on February 10 & 11 with athletes featured in 800 meter races.

Friday evening will see Ricardo Bell setting the pace in the Invitational 800 for Drake Sterling, Jason Springer and Juan Carrillo.

Competing in the Special 800 on Saturday will be James "Jimmy" O'Brien.

Coach Greg Harger said, "The GVSU Big Meet is an excellent setting and fantastic venue for high performance.  Coach Jerry Baltes and his program have built a first class program and exceptional meet management team with their new facility.  We are honored to support thier event". Harger added, "For the guys in the 800 this weekend the GVSU Big Meet is a best last chance opportunity to nail down a USA Indoor National Qualification mark.  The circumstances of this meet and the races certainly are an opportunity to test our team work on the track over the next two days".

The Indiana Invaders, a not-for-profit organization competing at USA National Championships since 1999, provide a resident-based, athlete-centered support system based in Indianapolis, Indiana.
