(Indianapolis, IN) The Indiana Invaders kicked-off  the implementation
of their Gold Medal Project with the announcement of a new athlete
recruitment initiative. The recruiting initiative's first phase will
grow both the  men's and women's roster to twelve national class
middle distance athletes.

The recruiting initiative is the first public step in a controlled
roll-out of the team’s Gold Medal Project, a new community based
business model. The Indiana Invaders Gold Medal Project will feature
three complimentary programs being woven together to create  an
integrated approach to elite athlete development for track & field in
Indiana.

The three cornerstone programs of the Indiana Invaders’ Gold Medal
Project are the Indiana Invaders Elite Athlete Development Program,
Indiana Cross Country Arena and American Milers Club High Performance
Series.

Coach Greg Harger said, "This announcement of our recruiting
initiative has been a long awaited and highly anticipated step in the
activation of what amounts to a 2.0 version of the Indiana Invaders.
Modestly growing the number of athletes we serve and raising the
performance level of athlete that we can serve will simultaneously
enhance our two major community programs, the Indiana Cross Country
Arena and the American Milers Club High Performance Series". Harger
added, "Our new roster openings will grow to support a men's and
women's roster and uniquely retain opportunities for athletes covering
the national class performance spectrum.  We look forward to a busy next couple of months as we announce renewals of long-time partnerships, new sponsorships and significant athlete roster additions".
