Throughout the season, CollegeHammer.com will be naming a coed athlete of the week.  This week's athlete of the week is Southern Illinois sophomore Jeneva McCall.  Louisville's D'Ana McCarty stole the headlines over the weekend with a new nation leading mark.  But I'm always a sucker for personal bests, and that's why McCall gets the nod.  Entering December, McCall's personal best was just 18.82m.  After a personal best of 20.21m to start the season, she threw another personal best of 20.81m last weekend.  She now has the second best mark in the nation.

Others considered: D'Ana McCarty (Louisville) for her nation leading mark in the women's weight.  Brett Suckstorf (Nebraska) for his 53cm best in his D1 competition since transferring to D1.  Patrick Onye (Indiana) for his impressive personal toss of 19.44m as just a freshman.
