I've been delinquent posting the college results of our alumni this week - I guess I got distracted with our own TOXC post season push.  TOXC alumni have just one runner still in competition: Sean Gildea ('09) of the Colorado School of Mines Powerhouse squad.

While many of us were standing in the rain at Mt. Sac Saturday cheering on our varsity teams, Sean and the Orediggers were competing at the NCAA Division II Central Region Championships at Wayne, Nebraska.  Sean turned in another solid performance placing 25th in 32:12 on the 10k course, helping his team to a third place finish.  Results

Sean and his team now advance to the NCAA Divsion II National Championships in Louisville, Kentucky on December 4th.  Going into the championship race, the Orediggers are ranked 4th in the nation behind conference rivals Adams State and Western State, as well as Grand Valley State in Michigan.
