The TOXC Class of 2011 didn't waste any time making an impact at the collegiate level.  Yesterday at the Fullerton Season Opener, Marco Godinez, now of Whittier College, and Matt Garvin of Cal Luthern University, lead their respective teams in their first ever college races!

Matt lead the CLU team with a 27:38 debut for the 8k distance and 97th place in the massive race, bringing the team to a 15th place finish. Marco lead the Whittier squad with a 26:45 season opener good for 39th place, leading his team to a 10th place team finish.  Congrats to Matt and Marco for a great opener! (Results) (CLU write-up) (Whittier write-up)

As is often the case, we don't know who is actually going to run until results are in!  Next week Look for for Alumni action with UCI, Mines, Oxy, Humboldt, and Chapman all with races on their schedules!
