Kory Jackson earns 7th place in the Men's Long Jump in a nationally ranked competitive field. In dramatic fashion, Jackson had to wait for the results of his competitors to earn a spot in the final round of nine. "From that point it was about making every jump count. Going in the finals as the last competitor in 9th meant having to wait for everyone else to jump.", said Coach Collins. Not an easy position to be in, but Kory kept his composure and corrected mistakes and fought through to finish 7th in a very competitive environment. And he still didn't jump his best and he knows he has more. He did a great job and he's gaining momentum as we head toward conference."Jackson earned 7th place with a jump of 7.17m (23' 6).
