When Jerrell Mock reached the finish line of the men's 8K race at the 2015 Mountain West Cross Country Championships, he was all by himself. Taking the victory by over 14 seconds, Mock was named the Mountain West Men's Athlete of the Year after leading the Colorado State men's team to a second-place finish in the conference.
