Following a strong showing at the Fordham Season Opener on Friday, Dec. 7, Fairleigh Dickinson track and field freshman Nia Alleyne was recognized as Northeast Conference Rookie of the Week, announced by the league office on Tuesday.

Competing for the first time this season, the Fairleigh Dickinson track and field program hosted the Knights Classic on Sunday inside the Rothman Center.

The Fairleigh Dickinson track and field teams hosted the Knights Classic inside the Rothman Center as the women's team recorded four individual first-place finishes on Sunday, including senior Dwanya Freeland's record-setting day. 

The Fairleigh Dickinson men's and women's track and field teams will open the 2012-13 indoor campaign by hosting the Knights Classic at the Rothman Center on Sunday, Nov. 2.
