Gonzaga University's men's and women's cross country teams will be running with the "big guns" Friday at the NCAA West Regional Cross Country Championships.

Gonzaga University women's runner Becca Barad and men's runner Willie Milam have been named to the West Coast Conference Cross Country All-Academic team announced by WCC Commissioner Jamie Zaninovich.

Lindsey Drake made her senior year count and helped her team back to the upper echelon. Tate Kelly used his senior year to help his team achieve a goal and gain added respectability.

Gonzaga University's women's cross country team won the Inland Empire Classic while the Bulldog men turned in a strong showing in finishing second behind Washington State University.

Gonzaga's men's and women's cross country teams get their final tune-up prior to the West Coast Conference Championship when they compete at the Inland Northwest Classic Saturday in Lewiston, Idaho.
