Junior Grand View track and field standout Val Veiock (West Des Moines, Iowa) won her second laurel by winning both events in which she entered at the Viking Relays.  She was first in the shot put at 44-10.75 and also took the discus gold at 141-0.  She met the NAIA 'A' standard in the shot put and eclipsed the 'B' mark in the discus.  Both throws currently lead the conference.

Veiock will be back in action on Friday, March 28th as the Vikings travel to Oskaloosa, Iowa to compete in the Grand View/William Penn Dual.
