[Women's Indoor Track and Field] Women s Indoor Track & Field All-MCC Team Announced

The 2014-2015 women's indoor track & field all-Midwest Collegiate Conference honors have been announced following the MCC Indoor Championships that were recently held in Sterling, Ill. on February 14.

All-MCC awards are given to all athletes finishing in the top three in individual events, in the top two in a relay event, or first in an event not contested at the league championships.  Honorable-mention awards also go to any other athletes meeting the NAIA's qualifying standard who were not already named all-MCC in their event.

Grand View senior Val Veiock picked up her fourth MCC Field Athlete of the Year laurel.  She tallied the win in the shot put and was second in the weight throw; both marks eclipsed previous meet records.

12 Viking women earned all-conference honors:

Lindsay Albert - 4x400-Meter Relay (Honorable Mention)
Ronnoja Ayers - 4x400-Meter Relay (Honorable Mention)
Jamie Barry - Distance Medley Relay
Amber Jones - Weight Throw
Kennedy King - 600-Meter Run, 4x400-Meter Relay (Honorable Mention), 4x800-Meter Relay (Honorable Mention)
Jena Krebs - Shot Put, Weight Throw
Jasmine Nielsen - 4x800-Meter Relay (Honorable Mention)
Natalie Potts - Distance Medley Relay, 4x800-Meter Relay (Honorable Mention)
Katie Roberts - 4x400-Meter Relay, 4x800-Meter Relay (Honorable Mention)
Hannah Sobaski - Distance Medley Relay
Kim Teno - Distance Medley Relay
Val Veiock - Shot Put, Weight Throw
