Carley McCutchen was crowned Big Sky Conference champion in the heptathlon today in Cheney, Wa., with Danielle Muri nipping at her heals throughout the two days of competition. McCutchen finished with a total score of 5,273 and Muri with 5,052 points. The duo took the top two spots in the competition, bringing in 18 total teams points. Jessica Chrisp added another two points for the team, placing seventh with a total of 4,630 points.
