Returning All-American DeAnna Price is already off to a hot start in 2013-14, as she was named a co-female field athlete of the week by the Missouri Valley Conference on Wednesday for her performance at the Saluki Fast Start on Dec. 7.

Saluki cross country concluded its monumental 2013 season on Friday at the NCAA Midwest Regional at Iowa State, where the Saluki women finished a program-high fourth place and the Saluki men finished 11th out of 29 teams.

Saluki cross country, hot off its sweep of the Missouri Valley Conference Cross Country Championships on Nov. 2, will look to make a splash on the national scene on Friday at the NCAA Midwest Regional hosted by Iowa State.
