At the end of May, the University at Albany outdoor track program brought a program-best 10 student-athletes to compete in the NCAA Division I East Preliminary Championships at the University of North Florida in Jacksonville. Of the 10, nine were making the trip for the first time, and a few had a real opportunity to successfully navigate the East field and advance to the NCAA Championships in Eugene, Oregon. By the end of the meet, however, none of the competing Great Danes had earned qualifying berths, bringing the 2015 season to an abrupt close.
