[Men's Track & Field] River View's Parsons to run at Rio

    WARSAW, Ohio - University of Rio Grande director of track & field/cross country Steve Gruenberg has announced the signing of River View High School's Andy Parsons for the 2014-15 school year.
    Parsons, a 6-foot-1, 165-pound sprinter, is among the handful of runners from head coach Mike Gray's Black Bears who qualified for this weekend's Division II state meet at Ohio State University's Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium.
    Parsons will compete in three events this weekend after placing fourth in the 400-meter dash and being part of River View's second-place finishing 4x200 and 4x400 relay teams at the Region VII finals last weekend at Muskingum University.
