    MASON, Ohio - University of Rio Grande director of track & field/cross country Steve Gruenberg recently announced the addition of Tiffin University transfer Juan Cummings for the 2014-15 school year.
    Cummings, a 5-foot-10, 167-pound sprinter, posted some impressive numbers during his prep career at Mason High School for head coach Chip Dobson's Comets, for whom he ran the 100- and 200-meter dash events and the 110-meter hurdles.
    According to the website www.athletic.net, he was the school's record-holder in the 200 (22.20) until earlier this year and is tied for fourth place all-time in the 100 at 11.33.
