Rio Grande/NAIA Sports Information
    KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Five athletes representing The University of Rio Grande will be among those participating in the 64th annual Men's National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Outdoor Track and Field National Championships at Mickey Miller Blackwell Stadium in Gulf Shores, Ala.
    A small portion of the meet will begin on Thursday afternoon, although the competition starts in earnest on Friday and continues through Saturday afternoon. Seventy-one events will take place over the three-day span.
    The national champions and award winners will be recognized at approximately 7:50 p.m. EDT on Saturday. The top eight athletes in each event and top eight relay teams will earn team points and achieve NAIA All-America status.
