Scores will be settled this Thursday evening in the Dempsey Indoor as the Husky track and field team lines up against itself for the annual Purple-Gold Intrasquad Meet, an unofficial start to the indoor track season.

The cross country season ran to a conclusion in Kentucky today, as the Husky women's team earned a ninth-place finish at the NCAA Championships, while Joey Bywater represented the UW men with a 69th-place finish.

Seniors Kayla Evans, Lindsay Flanagan, and Joey Bywater have taken their share of detours during their cross country careers, but always persevered, and tomorrow morning they'll run in another NCAA Championships.

Having put in thousands of miles as a team to get to Louisville, the UW women now get to line up this Saturday for one more race, with NCAA trophies on the line. Joey Bywater reps the Huskies in the men's race.
