Utah State cross country showed great effort in a competitive finish at the Mountain West Championships, Friday at Woodward Park in Fresno, Calif. The men's team improved one spot from the recent coaches' poll to finish fifth with 152 points, while the women's team placed seventh, recording 180 points.
