Villanova spread out its entries for the various events at the BIG EAST Championships in such a way that there were a lot of points to be had towards the end of the conference meet on Sunday afternoon. Although the Wildcats did not have the lead at the top of the team standings until the last few individual events, the end result was a wide margin of victory as Villanova won its second straight indoor BIG EAST title. Junior distance runner Jordy Williamsz (Melbourne, Australia) was named the Most Outstanding Track Performer in the meet and the Wildcats won the fifth indoor team title in program history.
