HOUSTON, Texas—Wichita State student-athlete Hunter Veith finished third in the decathlon after day one of the Shirley Crowe Multi-Events competition at Rice University inside the Holloway Field/Ley Track. As five other Shockers competed in the decathlon, four Shockers also competed in the heptathlon.
