This Wednesday, the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced its 2014 Division I NCAA Track and Field All-Academic Award recipients. Not only was the entirety of the Yale women s track and field team honored, but two individual athletes, senior Kira Garry and junior Emily Stark, also made the cut. The team s cumulative GPA was 3.58, which tied the Bulldogs for No. 6 in the nation and ranked them No. 1 in the Ivy League. Yale was one of 208 teams to receive the award during the 2014 season by attaining a cumulative GPA of at least 3.00.
