Dozens of runners from northeast Florida schools finished their cross country season with honors Saturday morning at state finals held in Dade City. Mandarin High School's Mary Kate Ponder crossed the finish line at 19:01.89 to place 10th in the Class 4A girls 5K. In the boy's 4A run, Mandarin's Tyler Mowery finished in 11th place with 16:03.43. COMPLETE RESULTS: Florida High School Athletic Association Cross Country Finals Mac Reynold of Nease finished sixth on the boys' Class 3A course, but it was the boys of Bartram Trail -- with runners finishing 18th, 27th, 30th and 33rd and 36th -- who won a team trophy: second place in the state.
