Kevin Johnson/Staff ESTERO — Jeff Sommer doesn’t remember exactly which place his 1999 Estero High boys cross country team finished at the state finals, but the Wildcats longtime running coach knows it wasn’t first. Estero’s bid for a third straight state championship came up short that day at Florida Community College in Jacksonville. “I don’t remember what we did.
