Katie Gorczyca 2 for 2 in Local Invites

Palo Verde freshman sensation Katie Gorczyca is starting off her high school cross country career with a bang.  After winning the Palo Verde Labor Day Classic Frosh-Soph division last weekend and having the fastest girls time of the meet, she won again today at the 40th Annual Larry Burgess-Las Vegas XC Invitational.  Katie's time of 19:44.7 was the fastest girls time of the meet in any division.  We hope to get an interview with her in the near future and ask her about her training and goals for the upcoming season.  Stay tuned.
