One half of the Reed HS (Sparks, NV) dynamic girls duel is Junior class Adrianna Newell.  

The other athletic being Soph.Gabby Williams who won the 100m hurdles, 300m hurdles and set a stadium record at high jump of 6 feet 1 1/2".  -- Don't worry, I got a picture of that too.

On a bright warm (high 70s low 80's) and relatively calm day (for northern Nevada standards), Newell breaks the stadium record for the 400m that was set at the state 2010 meet by McQueen HS Brianna Tate (now competeitng for Arizona State).

Newell capted off the days events by winning the 400m with a time of 55.53, 100m at 12.12 and 200m at 24.51.  She also ran an anchor leg of the 4x400m that came in second.  Reportedly, going into the last baton exchange, Reed was behind the eventual first place finisher McQueen HS by some 40 meters but closed to about 10 meters at the finish line.
