Faulds wins gold at provincials

Quinte Legion Track and Field Club member Rachel Faulds, of Trenton, won a gold medal in the junior women’s (18-19) 3000m run at the Athletics Ontario Bantam, Midget and Junior Indoor Provincial Championships last weekend at Toronto’s York University.

The 16-year-old ran a dominating time of 10:05.92, 11 seconds ahead of the second-place runner in the field of 24.
