Eammon Kichuk’s unbeaten streak on the line

Eamonn Kichuk certainly is consistent — and also concerned.

Unbeatable in a high school cross country race in almost three years, Kichuk — who attends Bill Crothers Secondary in Markham — knows the streak is on the line.

There is a twitch of concern in the voice of one of Canada’s top teenage distance runners, who is very much aware that his next race may be the toughest since he started attending the unique sports school.

It has nothing to do with a leg injury that caused problems for the talented 16-year old when he competed at the Youth Olympics four months ago in Singapore.

so is carlee cassidys who is a grade 10 running senior...... she wont win Ofsaa but no one ever talks about that..... i think a grade 10 who wins 5 senior girls races in a row deserves a mention
