Who Are We...
Shalane Flanagan, Simon Bairu and Tim Nelson are about as decorated as
track athletes can be, with an Olympic bronze medal, multiple national
records, and too many All-American honors to count, between the three of
them. But on November 7th, these world-class athletes will be rookies
all over again, as they race 26.2 miles for the very first time, at the
world's greatest marathon: the ING New York City Marathon.
Follow
their journey as they prepare for the race in beautiful locations all
across the United States, and share in their hope, their anxiety, and,
with a little bit of luck, their triumph.
