A week after both McMaster volleyball teams signalled their strength with spots in their opening national polls, the Marauders basketball teams did the same Tuesday, as the sport made its debut in the U Sports Top 10 rankings.

Places on the team podium may have eluded them Sunday, but the Marauders enjoyed several standout performances at the OUA Cross Country Championships in Toronto.

McMaster's representation in the U Sports national polls grew on Tuesday, as volleyball entered the picture ahead of the launch of conference regular seasons Friday.
