Genest has Olympics in sight

GUELPH — Alex Genest is in a good place. He’s relaxed and confident.

The 25-year-old member of the Speed River Track and Field Club is five weeks away from likely securing a spot on the Canadian Olympic team.

Now I’m refocussing on what I have to do for Nationals and getting ready for the Olympics at the beginning of August.”
