Published by
Ads   on Nov 10 2011, 07:21 AM

Wisconsin - First 23:46 - 23:48, Dominated every race this year, took five of first six at Big 10 (:18 second difference from 1-5), but #6 runner was 39th.  If team stays healthy, would be a tight win over Ok State

Ok St - Have looked very good but loss of Macheso and rise of Wisconsin puts the Badgers first by a whisker especially after :43 spread at Big 12, Manilafasha opened at Big 12 as #5 for the Cowboys

BYU - Great Performances at Notre Dame and Wisconsin Adidas show their strength but a failure from one runner will make it difficult for them to trophy, Top five finished within :35 to win first WCC title

Stanford - #3 runner (Wisconsin Adidas) Ben Johnson missed Pac-12 and if he misses NCAA, it is unlikely they will trophy

Colorado - Top NCAA returner Bosshard opened at PAc-12, expect improvement

Oklahoma 220 :28 spread for top five runners at Big 12 meant second to Oklahoma State

Iona - Dominant performance to win MAAC (15 points) for the 21st consecutive time

Indiana - Lost by average :31 to Wisconsin at Big 10 to finish second (:37 difference 1-5)

Florida State -  2nd at Acc as 1-5 :55, no Rickman #3 returner 59th at NCAA

Villanova - Won Big East with solid depth (6 in top 14, :16 separation from 1-5)

Texas - Lutz has been very impressive so far (fourth at Big 12) but races start to get longer.  Team closing the gap at Big 12 for third (3-4-5 :46, :51, and :53 behind Lutz) after ragged run at Wisconsin Adidas (3 runners :57 to :58 behind)

Princeton - Won Heps even with vet Leung not running well in brutally cold conditions

Portland - Lost out on 33rd straight conference victory after BYU joined WCC

Oregon - Parker Stinson has become a very strong #2 for Ducks leading to third place finish at Pac-10

Arkansas - Won SEC with 1-2 finish and :31 difference for 1-5.

NC State - Developing depth helped team to tight win over FSU at ACC

Providence - Top runner from 2010, 24th place Lee Carey, has run one race this year (5k Sept 10th), fith at Big East

Northern Arizona - Estrada Won Big Sky title by :23.  Took 5 of first 11 spots at Big Sky.  Real competition happens at Mountain regional.

Eastern Kentucky - Fourth at Pre-Nationals and won sixth straight OVC title

Minnesota Finished tied for third at Big 10. They were led by fourth place finish of Senior Hassan Mead, the only runner to break up the Wisconsin sweep
