2010 FINAL GIRLS INDIVIDUAL NATIONAL RANKINGS

Top-15 XC Nation All-Americans

1. AISLING CUFFE CORNWALL HS, CORNWALL-ON-HUDSON, NY SENIOR
The New York standout dominated this season from start to finish. A three-time Foot Locker finalist, two-time New York State and Federation champion. Cuffe crushed the historic Bowdoin course record at this seasons Federation Championships. Claimed the Foot Locker Northeast Region Championship and ran away from the field at Foot Locker Nationals.
2. RACHEL JOHNSON PLANO HS, PLANO, TX SENIOR
A 2009 qualifier for both Nike Cross and Foot Locker Nationals finishing 6th and 11th. Stormed through Texas undefeated claiming the UIL State Championship. Claimed the Nike South Region Championship and finished third in the Foot Locker South Regional. Won the Nike Cross National Title and finished second to Cuffe at the Foot Locker Championships a week later.
3. JULIE NACOUZI MONTGOMERY HS, SANTA ROSA, CA SENIOR
The Stanford Invitational Champion proved again she is the top runner in California when winning the Foot Locker West Regional. At the Foot Locker National Championships finished third behind Johnson and Cuffe.
4. KELSEY LAKOWSKE BOULDER HS, BOULDER, CO SENIOR
Coming back from injury 2010 was a question mark. Lakowske battled back to prove she is one of the top runners in the nation. A two-time Colorado All-Class State Champion and 2009 Colorado Gatorade Runner of the Year, Kelsey has run undefeated in the State of Colorado the past two seasons. Finished fourth at Foot Locker National Championships.
5. CHRISTIE RUTLEDGE FAYETTEVILLE MANLIUS HS, MANLIUS, NY JUNIOR
The top runner for the Nike Cross Nationals Team Champions Fayetteville Manlius Hornets. Finished second to US#2 Rachel Johnson by less than 3-seconds as the two of them ran away from the field. The New York State individual champion makes a powerful statement that she may be the runner to beat for 2011.
6. MEGAN VENABLES HIGHLAND REGIONAL HS, LAUREN SPRINGS, NJ SENIOR
The New Jersey State Champion and Holmdel course record holder has dominated all competition this season. After qualifying for Foot Locker Nationals with a 4th place finish at the Northeast Region Championship, Venables finished 5th overall at the Foot Locker National Championships.
7. ALLISON WOODWARD NOTRE DAME ACADEMY HS, DE PERE, WI SENIOR
The Wisconsin State Champion also claimed both the  Foot Locker Midwest and Nike Heartland Region Championships. Rebounded with a 6th place finish at Foot Locker Nationals after an off day in the mud at Nike Cross Nationals.
8. ERIN FINN WEST BLOOMFIELD HS, WEST BLOOMFIELD, MI SOPHOMORE
Finished ahead of three of the four runners who defeated her at the Michigan Lower Peninsula State Championships in the Foot Locker final finishing 7th. Battled all season against four of the top twenty runners in the nation ultimately prevailing when it mattered most.
9. SHANNON OSIKA WATERFORD MOTT HS, WATERFORD, MI JUNIOR
Finished 5th at the Michigan Lower Peninsula State Championships behind US#8 Finn, US#12 Anzalone and State Champion Brooke Handler. Defeated all but Finn in finishing 8th at the Foot Locker National Championships. Won the Michigan State meet as a freshman is one of the top returners for the 2011 season.
10. MOLLY GRABILL RANCHO BERNARDO HS, POWAY, CA SENIOR
The 2009 CIF State Champion faltered in the 2010 State meet finishing 6th after an undefeated and dominant season. At the Foot Locker West Regional finished 2nd to US#3 Julie Nacouzi. At the Foot Locker National Championships finished 9th to cap the 2010 season an All-American.
11. JOANNA THOMPSON KNOXVILLE CATHOLIC HS, KNOXVILLE, TN SENIOR
The Tennessee State Champion finished 4th at the Foot Locker South Championships to qualify for nationals. At the Foot Locker National Championships would finish 10th.
12. GABRIELLE ANZALONE GRAND BLANC HS, GRAND BLANC, MI SENIOR
The Michigan Lower Peninsula State Champion has victories over US#8 Erin Finn and US#9 Shannon Osika, however, it's been close in every race. At the Foot Locker Midwest Region Championship finish 2nd to US#7 Allison Woodward and ahead of both Finn and Osika but at the Foot Locker National Championships finished 11th behind all three.
13. KAYLA BEATTIE WOODSTOCK HS, WOODSTOCK, IL SENIOR
The 2009 & 2010 Illinois State Champion smashed the Detweiller Park course record this season. Won the Nike Midwest Region Championship but faltered in the mud at NXN Nationals. Rebounded with a stellar 12th place finish at Foot Locker National Championships earning All-American honors.
14. ELEANOR FULTON HIGHLANDS RANCH HS, LONE TREE, CO SENIOR
The World Steeple-phenom has finished well at National Championship competition. In 2008 finished 3rd overall at Nike Cross Nationals, in 2009 won the Nike Cross Southwest Region Championship and finished 5th at Nike Cross Nationals. 2010 set sights on Foot Locker Nationals, after placing 7th in the Midwest Region Championship competed at Foot Locker National Championships finishing 13th.
15. WAVERLY NEER CULVER ACADEMIES HS, CULVER, IN SENIOR
The Indiana phenom ran to course records at Sectional, Regional, and Semi-State Championships. At the Indiana State Championship ran the second fastest time all-time. Placed 10th in the Foot Locker Midwest Region Championship and ran to an impressive 14th place at the Foot Locker National Championships to earn All-American honors.

I think it would be good to see Rebecca Mehra of Palos Verdes hs here and possibly even Catrina Mcalister of Arcadia hs. But these are all very respected runners!
