UNLV track & field got a good showing from its trio of freshmen at the 2015 USATF Outdoor Junior Championships Friday at Hayward Field on the campus of the University of Oregon. MacKenna Howard led the Rebel contingent with a fifth-place finish in the shot put behind a throw of 49-7.25 (15.12m). On the track, Taylor Pegram was seventh in the 100m hurdles final (13.84) and Drea Austin (Las Vegas/Foothill HS) was eighth in the 100m (11.84).
