Winston-Salem, N.C. – The men's track and field team traveled to the JDL Fast Track the weekend of February 21st to compete at the UCS Invitational.

Starting the meet on a solid note was Roderick Bowman hitting a NAIA Indoor A Standard for the 5,000m race with a time of 15:05.11 and finishing in sixth place overall in the race.

Also on the men's distance side, Joseph Mullen broke the school record for the 3,000m race and hit a NAIA Indoor A Standard with a time of 8:29.91. He finished in fourth place overall in the race.

In addition to Mullen's indoor school record, the men's 4x400m relay team ran an indoor school record with a time of 3:28.78 and finishing fifth overall. The relay team was made up of Chaz Hawkins, Jake Morgenstern, Willie Thornhill, and Jacob Simmons.

Finally, A.J. Hubbard won the 60m dash this weekend with a winning time of 6.81.

The team will be traveling to Geneva, Ohio this weekend to compete at the NAIA Indoor Nationals. The meet starts March 5th.
